Chicago, Illinois. I've spent all afternoon and evening in a customer's break room. These are the folks known for their brown delivery vans and uniforms. Our load is scheduled to be ready late tonight. I wanted to be here before the snow started to fall. 6-8 inches is forecasted. My co-driver is sleeping right now. He will be up and ready to work at 10pm. Our normal routine got shifted by a few hours to accommodate my Annual Training at the OC in Gary, Indiana. That went very well, by the way. Very well, indeed.
I have been passing the time by re-reading Uncle David's book CHIAPAS RITUAL. If you haven't read it, you are missing out. I also recommend Uncle Galen's workbook DON'T SAY YOU CAN'T. He needs to grade my work during my next stop through town. Ha ha.
Since I'm out of quarters, I'm having to miss out on some of the junk food the vending machines have to offer. So when I got hungry, I went back to the truck to boil up some black bean soup. Good choice. And, I also boiled some water for my Ganoderma coffee mix.
Hunter called me right after school. We had a good conversation, but it was difficult to hear since 12 dockworkers were on lunch break, and all talking at once. That's perfectly allowed.
