5 days in total. I focused on my wife and kids, and took a break from nearly everything else - including my blog.
We had such good times together. Among the highlights of my time off were: going the Blue Man Group concert and going for several bicycle rides together.
I'm currently in St Robert, Missouri. It is just after 10pm, and I woke my co-driver up early. I have annual training at the Chicago OC in the morning, and I need to have completed 10 hours off duty to attend. The scheduling conflicts with our normal routine, but being flexible is part of this lifestyle's job description.
