Pacific, Missouri

We are just over 3 hours from home. My co-driver just took over. I'm fixin' to snooze for a while. I started my work day in Kentucky, picked up a load in Ohio, and relayed the trailer near St. Louis. I got the truck washed after being released to drive home. A clean truck is so satisfying. We will start a week of paid vacation once we reach Nixa. My partner is hoping his contractors properly installed his furnace. His house has been in the remodeling process for the past 4 years, literally. He gets a little accomplished everytime we go home. The tornado that devastated Joplin spared his house, but some of his neighbors weren't so lucky. Area contractors really have their hands full, and sometimes they don't get around to the projects they were paid to do before the tornado hit.
