Rain in New Jersey

We were delayed much longer than we expected to be in Atlanta. They gave our truck back to us at 6:30am. My co-driver picked up the UPS load and hurried up I-85. I took over driving at our fuel stop, just inside Virginia. Rain and traffic slowed me down a little, but I still got to Philadelphia sooner than I predicted. The folks at the receiving UPS facility were very pleasant. I picked up an empty trailer and rolled nonstop to the eastern edge of New Jersey. The rain got heavier, but it was a good trade off for snow and traffic. I was able to get to my shipper and leave the metro within 90 minutes. It was so good to get business done at night.
There wasn't much news from home. My wife is anxious for me to start my vacation. We haven't seen each other in 4 weeks. I miss her; and I miss my boys.
