Changing Latitudes

We were in Laredo, Texas yesterday. Unlike some of my friends, I enjoy that city. Sure, it is the Wild West in some ways, but it has a unique culture that makes me feel alive. The mobile kitchens (roach coaches) are one of my favorite features of Laredo. There is usually one or two parked outside of the Schneider property, serving up some of the most delicious food on the planet.

I am currently paused at the Flying J Travel Plaza in Peculiar, Missouri. The temperature is a lot colder here. It is almost 9pm, if it were earlier in the day, I would call up my good friend, Lejames, to come meet me for dinner. We are hauling another haz-mat load. It's labeled "corrosive" this time. Our "H" endorsements on our CDLs are really in demand lately. Anyway, we are headed to the Land of 10,000 Lakes (Minnesota). After that, we haul a load for Pillsbury, to the Land of Lincoln.
