Other Drivers Couldn’t Maintain Their Lane

Virtually everything went according to plan today. We delivered a load of furniture to a distribution center in Tyler, Texas.
We picked up our next load in Dallas. I let the puppies run around just outside of their gates. Our trailer contains 36,000 pounds of delicious beverages. Are usually scale everything that is over 30,000 pounds, but I think I figured out how to get it just right. The state of Oklahoma officials concur that I distributed the weight properly.
On our way out of Dallas, I kept encountering vehicles that strayed out of their lanes. One combination vehicle nearly took too long to heed my horn. I was sure we were going to collide, but things turned out fine. Stephanie is much more nonchalant about dumb drivers then she used to be. I really need to get a video camera mounted in my windshield again. Our puppies destroyed the one I got for my birthday.
Dust from the Sahara desert has meandered its way to Texas and Oklahoma. The haze is significant. I wonder how much more of it will blanket our side of the globe.
We are spending the night and our usual brand of truckstop in Ardmore Oklahoma. Outside temperatures are still hovering around 100°. Our air conditioning is continuing to make us perfectly comfortable.
