Victorious in Vermont

It has been a long time since I have been to Vermont. This has been Stephanie’s first time here, ever. Of course, we get to document this visit for our puppies tomorrow also. I think they have visited about 40 states now.
We brought this load up from the Schneider Drop Yard in South Kearny, New Jersey. It was about 140 pounds over the gross legal limit for a tractor – trailer without special permits.
Company directions were less then ideal getting to the customer in Saint Albans, Vermont this afternoon. The truck specific navigation took us down prohibited routes and ultimately to a residential address. We were able to figure out where we were supposed to go without any extraordinary drama, however.
We are spending the night at a nearby truck stop. They make you buy a five dollar token for 10 minutes worth of shower water here. My wife was not pleased. While that was frustrating, we were able to get some laundry washed and dried. The driver lounge was pretty good.
It was nice to in the week on a decent note, regarding revenue. The past few weeks have been pretty good, also.
