It was nice to be home for a truck breakdown. Our car was nearby, so we had transportation & a place to sleep. I was worried about how long we would potentially be out of commission, especially being under a load.
The mechanics performed their magic much faster than expected. The truck was ready to roll my 10 o’clock in the morning. We weren’t ready, however. This event served as a perfect opportunity to get a few chores accomplished, plus a couple of elective items.
We are spending the night in Troy Illinois. There are still a few spaces available at the colorful truck stop. Our dinner is almost ready to serve.
