Better Luck & Going to Phoenix

We finally had a successful load. Then we found a load from Laredo Texas to Phoenix Arizona. We deadheaded from Temple Texas to Laredo. That was over 300 miles, but it was worth it. Our loaded trailer was in the Schneider yard & all ready to go. We spent the night there.
The trip to Phoenix went smoothly. We didn’t get singled out for inspections at any of the three Border Patrol checkpoints along the way. We spent last night in Van Horn Texas, where the truckstop was absurdly lacking in common supplies.
We pulled into the Schneider yard in Phoenix this afternoon. Two of my close friends were already here. We wouldn’t have known that they were here, had I not mentioned it on Facebook. It was nice to catch up with some dear friends.
In the morning, we will complete delivery of this load to a food manufacturing facility. Then, we have plans to go to Denver Colorado.
