High DOT Clock Drama Delivering to Scarborough, Maine
We had some delays yesterday, so today was extra challenging. We finished delivering our load to the distribution center in Rhode Island, then we picked up our next load in Windsor Connecticut. Time was really tight. I was almost resigned to the fact that I might run over my legal hours by a few minutes. It has been many years since I have done that. However, we got to our destination in Scarborough Maine with six minutes remaining on the 11 hour clock. (That’s the one that limits how much actual driving time I can do). The customer got us unloaded and let me know that parking is perfectly allowable on the street. It is Monday night - the end of the fiscal week. We did pretty well.
