Delivering a Full Load in Brooklyn, New York

We left Frystown at 3:30 in the morning. Getting into Brooklyn went pretty smoothly, but we had to make a couple of detours to get onto our customer’s street. People park their cars without much wisdom.
At 7:30, nobody had shown up to unload our trailer. Stephanie took a look at the truck computer and discovered that the scheduled time had been quietly changed to 8:30. This was frustrating since our future plans were reliant on us getting out of there at a reasonable time.
Our customer’s grocery store was in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood. Almost everyone we saw was wearing traditional Jewish attire. Even the children looked the part. School bus is with Hebrew lettering roamed up and down the streets.
The unloading crew finally arrived. I was directed to move to another street, at the back of the building. Both sides of the grocery store obviously facilitated storage for pallets of freight.
I helped unload the trailer. The dogs barked at almost everyone who passed by. Traffic got dangerously close to our tractor, but thankfully no one hit us.
