Our load was ready to go from the P&G factory in Mehoopany Pennsylvania. The guard was enchanted by our dogs. She gave them a handful of snacks. The drop lot was extremely muddy and wet. I had to change my socks after melting snow inundated my shoes.
The rain never stopped as we made our way to our destination in Rhode Island. Wet roads was probably a contributing factor to a car accident we saw as we were getting onto a freeway. I think someone got hurt. After the sun set , extreme road glare made it difficult for me to see where I was driving. I took it slowly and we got there safely.
Once again, we came close to exhausting our legal hours of service. We are spending the night and our customers facility in Dayville Connecticut.
Stephanie made bread in the toaster oven while I was driving! She did a really good job. She made a satisfying dinner of spaghetti and salad to go with it.
