We picked up our next load at a nearby location. The loaded trailer we picked up was situated in the middle of a car parking lot filled with ice. I was glad the tires did not stick to the pavement.
Not too far into Pennsylvania, two of the trailer tires erupted into a million pieces. The sound was spectacular. Shards of rubber and sparks prompted following traffic to keep their distance. A truckstop was not too far away, so we limped on in there. The repair shop made us whole again within 90 minutes.
Our friend, Derek, is spending the night here in Milton Pennsylvania also. We were truly looking forward to having our dogs mingle, but the timing of our chores and our drowsiness will prevent us from fellowshipping once again.
