Dirty Windshield/Canceled Load/Emergency Stop

This has been a challenging Tuesday. I’m sure my aging has been accelerated because of the things that happened today.
Heading south, out of Saginaw Michigan, my windshield became too dirty to see out of.The ice melting chemicals did a great job on the road, but obscured my vision. The windshield washer fluid had frozen inside of the tubes. It was a little scary, for a moment or two, as I struggled to determine where my lane of the freeway was. We eventually stopped at a rest area & gave the windshield a proper cleaning with my own blue fluid and a squeegee.
I didn’t mention this in the title, but a train blocked our path for more than 90 minutes. I had to drive a lot faster than usual to compensate for the time lost. The other truck drivers who were ahead of me and behind me were extremely frustrated by the stolen time. Here’s a thorn to the railroad.
After picking up our load in Perrysburg Ohio and spending so much time waiting for a train to move, we were hit by a piece of bad news: our next load has been canceled. It was the linchpin that would have supported a very good week of revenue. Luckily, Stephanie was able to find a similar load and slid it into our itinerary.
About 100 miles into Pennsylvania, my truck display prompted me to stop the rig as fast as I could. If I didn’t stop voluntarily, the truck would shut down on its own. There is a faulty sensor that keeps warning us that our coolant is excessively low. On the side of the road, and with flashers on, I topped off the coolant reservoir. Only about a pint would fit into it. It’s a shame the mechanics at the Kenworth in Texas did not remedy the problem. We are starting to get sick of this stupid truck.
The day ended decently enough. We are in a improvised parking spot at a popular truckstop chain in Drums Pennsylvania. We just got showers, and now we are about to eat dinner.
I have not proofread this post yet. So, please forgive the grammar errors.
