Queasy Tuesday / Joplin Jenks & Troy

We woke up in Joplin Missouri. Neither of us felt very well. Because of that, we skipped breakfast.
Things went well at our pick up location in Jenks Oklahoma. Most of the workers were outside because the electricity was off.
Heading east again, we stopped at the turnpike Archway for an urgent restroom break. While we were there, we got some food from McDonald's.
We took a 2-hour break in Springfield & Nixa Missouri. My mom had just arrived from her own trip from Oklahoma. She was glad to see us. We got several things done, like collecting mail, dropping off things from the truck to storage, and getting Stephanie's repaired wedding ring from the jeweler's.
I had one more episode of illness while we were at home. I had to abandon everything at the storage unit property and get driven to the nearest gas station. The storage unit attendant called me to see if I was the one who abandoned in my truck in the middle of the aisle. She claimed that I was blocking other customers, but when we came back we discovered that was simply not so.
We took one more break between Springfield and our current location of Troy Illinois. Saint Robert is a frequent pausing point for us. We either go to the truck stop on the north side, or go to the silly tourist attraction on the south side of I-44. We went to the truck stop on this occasion.
Construction caused some issues for us as we went through St. Louis. The ramp to I 55 was closed & a detour was offered. It didn't cost us an excessive amount of time, thankfully.
There were still plenty of parking spaces available at our favorite truckstop chain location in Troy Illinois. This isn't  too far outside of St. Louis. We spent a couple of hours trying to figure out which loads would accommodate our plans to attend basic training graduation in South Carolina on Wednesday. Our stepson appears to have done exceptionally. We are proud of him.
This blog chapter has not been carefully proofread yet, so pardon any errors you may come across. It is late. We need to get to bed very soon.
