You can expect really slow traffic whenever you drive through New York City & the vicinity around it. We started the day in Kearney New Jersey and drove 90 minutes to a town on Long Island to pick up a load. The customer's building was in an apparent state of transition as nothing was labeled correctly & they had us get loaded on two sides of the building.
Our trip back into New Jersey & points beyond went more slowly than it did arriving. Traffic seemed extra heavy today, no matter where we went. My ETA to our final customer had to be adjusted a couple of times to reflect our transit delays. I'll be glad to eventually drive in sparsely populated areas again.
