Worked Hard & Took a 34-Hour Break

My competitive streak was on. We put in a lot of miles since the time we left home until Monday night. As you may remember, the pay cut off is at 23:00 every Monday night. My higher than average gross revenue makes me feel like I have something to privately brag about.
There were a few nights that I ran my DOT clock down to critical minutes. Monday night was no exception. Stephanie called and our representative at Schneider to ask him to allow us to leave our customers facility without an empty trailer after we delivered. This allowed us to legally drive the tractor while the time on the 11 hour clock was expired. He made sure that we knew that exceeding the 14 hour clock was a violation not to do that.   We are almost done with a 34 hour reset. We have a fresh 70 hours on our weekly allotment. Dekalb Illinois was a good host to us. There are lots of things to do around here.

We spent yesterday doing laundry and deeply cleaning the inside of the truck. I find it relaxing, although other people describe it as a tedious task.
As we commonly due on our day off, we went to see a movie. We watched "Hidden Figures".
It is breakfast time now. I will blog later.
