While I was in the shipping office, one of the guards came in appearing significantly stressed. He was inquiring with the staff who drove a jeep. It turned out to be the head supervisor.
The security guard was convinced there would be a termination coming. The supervisor drove through the parking lot very recklessly. He almost hit him and other employees without even stopping. I wish I would have taken the time to pull the video of the incident from my dash cam. Although the guard said they had enough witnesses to sufficiently present their case against the supervisor.
After leaving Lincolnton, we drove about 45 minutes, to our overnight parking destination: Walmart. I had yet to send child support to my ex wife, as I do every Friday. We were able to get some grocery shopping done while we were there. Afterwards, we ordered a dinner to share in the truck, from Applebee's.
We delivered our load to The Home Depot yesterday evening in Van Buren. While we were in line to enter, we heard some yelling from the other side of the guard house. Another driver was being confronted and told to pick up a pee bottle that he threw out of his truck. Our delivery went extremely smooth.
Then we crossed the street and parked at the Pilot in Findlay, OH. Stephanie's mom and family friend were there waiting to pick us up.
We spent the evening at Stephanie's grandparents and enjoyed BBQ ribs for dinner. Visiting our family allowed us to get our laundy done. It's wonderful to have such a soft welcoming place to undwind while in town.
Below are some pictures of our time in Findlay.....
