Knoxville Tennessee to Murfreesboro Tennessee

This is a slightly late post. On Sunday we picked up a load of food grade cardboard packaging from a customer in Knoxville Tennessee. In our instructions it said they would take about 2.75 hours, but we were done in half an hour.

The employees called each other good buddy and encouraged me to do the same. I didn't because it is a derogatory term in the trucking word. Usually references homosexuals. 

 

After leaving our shipper, we drove 3 hours non stop to our destination in Murfreesboro. We dropped off the loaded trailer and left with an empty one. We weee well ahead of schedule. We decided to dead head 84 miles to the vicinity of our next shipper in Lawrenceburg Tennessee. We had Pizza Hut for dinner and slept soundly at a ubiquitous box store.
