Nov 20-21 Overnight in Nixa

After delivering our load to Independence Missouri, we deaheaded over 200 miles to home in Nixa. We are becoming less and less apprehensive to large empty miles, as we are discovering that we can still bring in sufficient revenue.

  We chose to park our rig in an industrial neighborhood, on the north side of Walmart. It was a relatively short walk to go pick up my boys. The boys had fun kicking the soccer ball around in the quiet area we had chosen. Although we are deep into the homeless lifestyle, we still make things comfortable and fun. 

  As usual, we used outdoor fire to make dinner. A simple hotdog dinner hit the spot. I tried the chimney charcoal starter for the first time and was extremely impressed. The charcoal briquettes were ready really quickly. 

  The Walmart pumpkin pie satisfied our dessert sweet tooths. We watched a little TV, then walked the boys back to Deerfield Street so they could get ready for bed.
