It was nice to find a load that paid a little better than average to get us back to the central time zone. We were live-loaded at the shipper and live-unloaded at the destination. Neither customer took an excessive amount of time, thankfully.
Along our route to Missouri, the weather became windy & snowy. My fuel mileage stunk.
The landing gear cushion was barely hanging on, so we decided to spend the night at the Schneider yard in Edwardsville Illinois. The mechanics fixed us up properly.
While we were there, I got to meet Michael Ritz, my Swarm acquaintance.
