Changes to Life in Nixa

My dear friends in Iowa will be saddened to know that my marriage to Regina is ending. It is truly ending this time. We were together for 20 years & spend an excessive amount of time unhappy in the relationship. While there is that great chasm, we still treat each other with acceptable dignity.  Our kids are aware of the situation, saddened, but not impacted too much in their daily lives. 

   Today, I arrived in Nixa and removed my belongings from the duplex. Her friends and my mother were there to make sure things went smoothly. Using my tractor, I shuttled my things to a newly rented 5 x 7 climate-controlled storage unit. 

   I have a girlfriend. Her name is Stephanie. She recently began riding with me full-time. The love & congruence between us is strong. At the storage complex, I introduced her to my mother. It was a little awkward, but it needed to happen sometime. 

  We are spending the night at the only motel in town. It is money well spent, as I was tired, sweaty & dirty after all of the labor of moving.
