QUIET 34

Commerce City Colorado
After delivering my load to a food distribution warehouse in Denver, I bobtailed to a nearby truckstop to begin my 34-hour restart. Some off-duty time was just what I needed.
I had to relocate from my favorite brand of truckstop to another popular one four miles away. The one whose name starts with a "P" was filthy and overrun by people asking for money. The other truckstop's management was far more in tune with the needs & desires of professional truck drivers. The two-lettered travel center was really crowded, but the well-equipped security guards kept an orderly atmosphere. I enjoyed a luxurious shower, then sat in on the Sunday morning bible study in the TV room. (I'm non-religious, but I do enjoy church sometimes).
For most of the remainder of my time off, I stayed in my truck. It was so nice to sleep excessively & watch lots of televiosion via Hulu Plus.
