HOME THEN ROAD

Home visits are becoming more and more frequent. However, my visits have been brief. Last night (Tuesday night into Wednesday) was just such an example. I crawled into bed at 11:30, as everyone was sleeping. The morning was filled with fun & meaningfulness as I led the boys' before routine. After breakfast, we went to the city park to play. All 3 of my boys had a blast. I got them to school in the nick of time. Regina used our absence as an opportunity to take a leisurely shower. I took her out for a proper breakfast after dropping the older two boys off at school.
I left home around 10:30 & ran with utmost diligence. The guys in Mountain Home Arkansas were happy to get their beer, although a pallet had shifted.
It's not often that I deadhead 200 miles, but my current load is totally worth it. Sometimes the most unlikely of freight pays the best. I can't tell you what I'm hauling until later, as a matter of policy.
Haubstadt Indiana still has a few truck parking spaces available, although you wouldn't guess it, judging by the catywaumpusly parked trucks at the edges of the truckstop properties.
