I DIDN'T REQUEST THAT!!!

When I picked up my truck from the dealership in Springfield Missouri yesterday morning, I noticed fresh grease on the fifth wheel and other slight improvements to my tractor.
During my time at home, my truck stayed at the dealership to have the engine fan clutch repaired/replaced. That was the only service I requested through my maintenance provider. (name withheld).
I went to the front desk to ask for a receipt for the work performed. They did a full p.m. with oil change! I didn't ask for that! I had an oil change just a couple weeks ago in Colorado! The bill totaled nearly $800. I raised objection immediately to the unnecessary and unrequested work. The desk clerk told me that my maintenance provider is the want to take issue with; Freightliner was only following their orders. So I called my maintenance provider's toll-free phone number and clearly enunciated my complaint. The representative on the other end of the line insisted that I had requested such service. I tried to keep my voice as calm as possible, but I'm sure there was detectable emotion in the words that I spoke. I wanted to know how they were going to compensate me for $800 worth of unecessary/ unrequested work. The man receiving my call transferred me to his supervisor once I mentioned the fact that they advertise that they "record every phone call for quality assurance." I wanted to know how the words that came out of my mouth could have possibly been construed to include a request for a wildly expensive oil change! The supervisor got on the line with me and inquired about my complaint, to which she promised to review the phone records and respond to me within a few hours. It is currently nearly 24 hours later; I haven't heard anything back yet. I will give them one more hour before I call to check on their self-investigation.
