NOT WANDERING TOO FAR

After a satisfying time at home & hotel with the family, I left around noon on Sunday. Regina and the boys were glad that I left my rig in Joplin Missouri for my time off. The adventures surrounding taking me back were just what they wanted. It was one last trip before the arrival of our next child, Wyatt.
I took my load to it's destination in Valliant Oklahoma. The paper recycling facility is becoming a common stomping ground for me.
To pick up my next load, I took many country roads to a rural location in northeastern Texas. My load wasn't ready, so I waited overnight on their property. After the sun rose, I departed their facility to embark on the 75 mile trip. After I delivered, I came right back to pick up a different load. These short, heavy loads weren't all that profitable, but they got me to my revenue goal for the fiscal week. Also, I didn't want to wander too far from Missouri. Regina is showing signs of having the baby earlier than expected.
Within half a mile of my shipper, I weighed my rig at this family-owned scale facility.
These folks have quite a racket going on. Seems like the American dream to me.
It's Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. A thunderstorm woke me up. As you can see, my travels have taken me a significant distance from Texas.
