SIX HOURS AT HOME

NIXA, MISSOURI I arrived home Saturday morning as Hunter was leaving his friends house, where he spent the night.
After rolling my spare tires into the backyard, I went inside and washed up. My youngest son asked me to make him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast.
Regina was glad to see me too. She had to go to work. At least I would be home to take kids to their activities.
The boys and I decided to use our bicycles to get around town. Our first activity was to go to the city park to meet the Cub Scouts.
The boys cleaned up with from the city park.
Next, we went to the park on the other side of town – where Forest would be playing his last soccer game of the spring.
He was sure excited about getting his medal.
Look at that proud boy!
My grandpa took us all out to eat after the game was over. Regina joined us on her lunch break. The boys stayed with their great grandpa for the remainder of Regina's workday. At 1:30 I got back in the truck and resumed my trip to Wisconsin. I spent the night just east of St. Louis.
