EXPERIENCING WISCONSIN.

Yesterday, I delivered my load of potato chips to a customer's facility in the Milwaukee area. I dropped off my loaded trailer, actually. Since it was the weekend, there weren't any unloaded, empty trailers available. My company's "box planners" instructed me to bobtail all the way up to Green Bay to find one.
I chose a brand-new trailer from the training academy drop lot. It seems that the newer trailers roll a lot better than the 9 and 10-year-old ones, therefore saving me fuel.
Many memories were made 12 years ago, at that training academy. It's where Regina and I got our initial training in trucking.
I spent the night less than a mile from the Academy, at a small travel plaza, containing both A&W and a Taco Bell. I chose the quasi-Mexican food for dinner, which helped fuel my brain for analyzing the freight board on my laptop.
It's my tentative plan to be home on Friday. I managed to align three loads that ultimately deliver in Springfield, Missouri.
I'm currently waiting for a loading dock to open up, so I can get loaded & rolling.
