BEGINNING A RESTART IN DALLAS

We have been zipping all over. I haven't blogged much on this site lately. All has been going pretty well. We've had a few live load/unload delays during the past week, but it hasn't dented our miles too badly. We are under a load of empty automotive racks from Detroit at the moment. I was running low on hours and was significantly slowed down last night in Indianapolis. Construction lane closures created a horrible traffic jam on the 465 beltway. This shot down any hope of delivering in Laredo today. We got permission to complete a 34 hour restart in Dallas. Mr. H is staying in the motel for a change. I am completing my laundry at the OC and sleeping in the truck. It's a beautiful day in Texas. I used the student van to take Mr. H to the motel.

Back at the OC, I enjoyed an extremely delicious burrito lunch from the in-house café. Another driver and I chatted while watching The Weather Channel. This is a feel-good kind of afternoon.
