In just a few minutes, the Best Western van I am sitting in will begin its trip to the Schneider OC in Gary, Indiana. It's only 5 miles away.
I spent the prior day in room 317, barely getting out for anything. Sure, I went downstairs twice that day for meals in the restaurant. Other than that, I stayed in my room. Some kind of germ was taking residence in my body & I was fighting hard. My discomfort is barely worth mentioning, given the statuses of various members of my family. Grandma Alice has been in hospital for the last couple of days. She will be undergoing an angiogram this morning. The nurses and doctors are treating her very well.
My annual training will start at 7am. Wish me luck.
