Our starter has become temperamental in recent days. There have been a few times that I had wondered if the tractor would start up at all. Since we chose to do a 34-hour restart in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, I decided to take the tractor by the maintenance shop to inquire about a replacement. They were able to get it into the shop without delay. This was delightfully unusual. Our tractor should be ready to roll by the time we get back.
My partner went to the motel, while I washed my laundry. I got my clothes washed, dried, folded & back in the truck just in time to catch the last shuttle to the Sleep Inn.
Right after checking into my room, I walked back down & across the lot to Cracker Barrel. They were open for just 30 more minutes. I enjoyed a bowl of pinto beans, cornbread & chocolate cake. It was perfect.
I updated both of my boys' blogs this evening. You are welcome to check them out. Click on my profile for the links.
It looks like icy weather is heading this way. It's a good thing we got to stop when we did.
