We all need a day alone sometimes, to renew our energy & refresh our perspective on life. The past 24 hours have been "my" day. After watching my partner narrowly deliver our on-time & washing my laundry at the OC, I took the shuttle to the Best Western. We Schneider drivers get to stay here for only $38 a night. I usually spend time with family while I'm in this area, but I chose to be alone this time. I wouldn't have been enjoyable company, given my level of fatigue. Lots of television, rest & good food have done me good.
My cousin, Evan, invited me to have breakfast with him this morning, but I didn't see his messages until it was too late. I slept very deeply last night, into this morning.
Now that I'm all recharged, I hope we get some vigorous loads out East and back here again.
