HOUSTON, TEXAS

We are taking a day off in Houston, Texas. Victor & I are out of hours to legally drive the big truck.

We saw a movie tonight. Skyfall. It was pretty good. The movie theater looked like any other, but was actually a full-service bar, where waiters and waitresses serve their customers throughout the entire movie. I didn't order anything, because I had just eaten a big meal at Denny's. My bladder was already being challenged from the coffee I had been served earlier.

Now, we are settled into our respective beds. It's my turn to relax in a motel. Victor will attend the truck - which is parked in a questionable spot, as there were no legitimate parking spaces available. This Super 8 is much nicer than most, but is still priced competitively. ~$55/night. It was about a 10 minute walk over here. I was sprinkled upon during the last quarter-mile of my hike. The rain started to pour right as I got checked in. Excellent timing.
