I voted before leaving home last month. It was a tough decision. Neither of the Presidential candidates inspired much confidence with me. Like millions, across the United States & the world, I tuned in to the media election coverage as the evening progressed. I flipped between Foxnews & MSNBC on my XM satellite radio dial. My feelings were mixed as I heard them call the election for President Obama.
Regina took temporary work at the county courthouse, on Election Day. It was her job to process the early votes. She told me that she discovered my envelope & a friends absentee envelope during the course of her duties. Although I had already told her who & what I voted for, she didn't look. I was glad for that.
