My best friend became a grandfather today. Lejames' 16-year-old daughter, Kelsey, Had an emergency C-section this morning, following a violent seizure which prompted a trip to the hospital via ambulance. She was due to give birth tomorrow. Little Zaylen is a healthy boy, weighing 8lbs, 7oz. Kelsey will be in ICU for another day or so.
The circumstance of this pregnancy was not picture-perfect, but it is how things commonly go. Thankfully, her family didn't shun her or display shame over her in any way. They helped & loved her every step of the way. Society is adapting to this reality & fewer people are judging harshly. This is a good thing.
