CLOBBERED A DEER

Last night, near Bainbridge, Georgia,I hit a furry meteor. It broke off part of my bumper, punctured my a/c fluid tank & met 9 of my 18 wheels. There was no other damage to the truck that we have observed as of yet. Never mind the deer. I got 6 points on Waze for reporting the roadkill afterward.

Earlier in the day, I delivered my load of FedEx packages to the Orlando hub. Freight still isn't plentiful, so my dispatchers had me deadhead 324 miles to the Georgia-Pacific mill in southwestern Georgia. Those kind of empty miles used to be strictly forbidden. I'm glad they retained me/ us on the Elite team board.
