DOWN IN DALLAS

My new partner is spending the night at the Comfort Inn, in Red Oak. I'm enjoying a quiet night at the company operating center. My "truck-cooked" meal was satisfying. That 12volt oven saves me a lot of money.

We ran hard & ran out of hours to legally drive. That's why we are down for the night. Victor has really been proving himself as a motivated team partner. He's only 9 weeks into his employment with Schneider, after a 30+ year hiatus, but his skills have remained sharp. I was surprised by how easily he backs the trailers into parking spaces. My previous partner never did master the art.

I'm very tired, so I will be going to bed a lot earlier than usual tonight.
