DIDN'T TAKE OFF TODAY

It was a longshot, but I wanted to make myself available to roll this morning anyway. As halfway expected, my dispatchers weren't able to get me moving today. It was good that I called them, though. The computers still didn't reflect that I was now a solo driver. Any miles that I would have driven would have been shared with my former co-driver. That would have been unacceptable.
The boys, wife & I spent the previous 2 nights at a motel. Regina didn't want the hassle of set-up & clean-up associated with only 2 days of staying at my grandpa's house - the place we usually stay whenever I'm in town.
Surprise: I'm in town for an extra night. We have been treading carefully in Grandpa's house. It occurred to me that having the boys & myself sleep in the truck would serve as a thrilling experience for them, as well as minimizing the labor required to accommodate their bedding. Regina is sleeping inside, however.
