REMINGTON, INDIANA

Here we are, parked for several hours again. We are on a load in which our customer won't be open for business for another eight hours. Our load assignments have continued to be unimpressive, yet they have been as good or better than our fellow team drivers. Contrary to what we were taught in Sunday School, as children, it sometimes helps to look across & compare our situation to our neighbors'.

We have passed through our home neighborhood twice, in recent days. I'm hoping we will be able to stop & visit the family on an upcoming trip.

My boys have continued to do well in their first week of school. Forest, my four-year-old preschooler, amazes me with his ability to remember the events of his day, when properly motivated. The promise of going to his grandma's house effectively jogged his memory, this past Friday. We were extremely amused. My eight-year-old son, Hunter, usually calls me after school to report at least three things that happened that day.

My status in the Waze community continues to rise. I commonly report between five and seven traffic events or hazards each day. Such reports are one of the methods used to rise through the ranks in the community. It amazes me to observe how many other "Wazers" are on the road during any given hour.
