I'm having to let my 60-year-old co-driver go. He has been engaging in unprofessional activities that directly affect my health & safety. He responded to my carefully delivered rebuke with incredible hostility this morning. There is no doubt in my mind that he has to go, and our boss agrees. Although it is risky to continue teaming with such an unstable man, I have chosen to allow him to remain in the truck until we can get routed back to Missouri. We are currently under a load delivering to Stockton, California.
