My partner is across town, at the Sleep Inn. I decided to stay at the Schneider OC & in my truck. We were running low on hours just a few days before our scheduled return to Nixa. It would be a shame to be prevented from going home because of an inadequate logbook recap.
I did laundry, wrote postcards, and exercised this afternoon. After dinner, I watched Black Dog (a Patrick Swayze movie about truck hijacking) with several of my fellow drivers. Our scene by scene commentary was enormously amusing.
Currently, I am sitting in my truck watching lightning flashes on the horizon. I hope we get a noisy thunderstorm.
