FULL FRIDAY

Maybe we didn't do all that much, but the day sure felt like a full one.
I walked Hunter to his classroom again, with Forest on my shoulders. He remembered his backpack today.
Regina, Forest, and I did various chores around Springfield today, including a trip to Best Buy to allow Forest to pick out a kid's movie, as a R reward for good behavior.
We had lunch at a buffet restaurant. As we were preparing to eat, a 19-year-old girl approached our table, with a stick of cotton candy in hand. She asked me if I would like a free card. I was confused about what kind of card she might be offering. My confusion must have been evident on my face. The next thing I knew, she tossed something that looked like a business card on our table, and quickly retreated to her own table. I picked up the card, and to my surprise, it was a short pamphlet speaking out against the practice of circumcision. She had even taken the time to hand-write about 12 websites to visit, concerning the subject. I couldn't figure why a wan of that age would be so zealous over such a cause. Some of her other behaviors indicated that she had some type of disorder. This was the oddest thing that has occurred during a meal since two drunks had a fist fight in my booth a few years ago.
After we picked Hunter up from school, we spent part of the afternoon relaxing on the couches, in front of the television. As ridiculous as the Spongebob cartoon may be, the show does retain our attention, and draw a few laughs.
We had Mexican food for dinner, then we took in a movie - as we often do on Friday nights. The movie isn't worth mentioning. Both of the boys fell asleep during the feature presentation.
Regina and Forest continue to struggle with their colds, although they are improving slightly. I remain unaffected, hoping that my nutritional measures will be stronger than the virus that wishes to invade.
