Big Detention in Rock Island, Illinois

Our work assignment said that we had to deliver our load Sunday afternoon to a customer in Rock Island, Illinois. However, their facility was all locked up. I called the support staff at Schneider. They attempted to find a place for me to relay the trailer. That was unsuccessful, so I was required to remain on the load until delivery was complete Monday morning. We had to cancel a couple of loads, but we were compensated with a satisfying amount of detention pay.
