Our batteries have been draining critical levels each night, so I was attempting to prevent problems the following morning. However, when we woke up, all of the interior accessories & lights were starved of electricity. Apparently, the attention given by Kenworth was ineffective & my new strategy was also impotent. Oh, well...the truck still started.
Getting ready to begin the workday, I maneuvered our tractor to the spot where I had left the trailer. Oh no! It was missing! After looking around for less than a minute, it occurred to me that it was most likely in one of the maintenance bays. Perhaps the maintenance crew had caught up with everything and had gone looking for trailers with defects listed in the computer. Sure enough, it was in the shop. I immediately went over to talk to the supervisor about it. He quickly agreed to release it to me. That was a close call. They were fixing to do a big job.
