Beginning a 34-Hour Break in McAlester Oklahoma

After picking up a load of gigantic rolls of paper from a mill in Valliant Oklahoma, we are beginning a 34 hour break in McAlester Oklahoma. It’s a modest truck stop, but there are a variety of things to do around here. We are intending to watch a movie tomorrow. 

  We are worried about my dad this evening. He is in an Oklahoma City hospital, getting ready to have an angiogram tomorrow afternoon. The doctors originally had him scheduled for the 21st, but the severity of his symptoms prompted them to get him in much sooner. 

  The puppies are in good health & in good spirits. They have vigorous appetites & affectionate fits.
