Things Got Better, Then We Went Home

There were three occasions during the past week that I drove to within 5 minutes of an HOS (hours of service) violation. I have been really lucky to have stayed out of trouble. Stephanie looks on in amusement. 

  We went home and had a hactic 34 hours. The truck went to Kenworth to have a damage estimate & to have the inverter looked at. 

  Our 5-month-old puppies spent Thursday at the veterinarian’s office, as it was time to get them spayed. Everything went well. The girls were expectedly subdued and sore that evening. 

  We set up camp in my parents backyard. Our resources and responsibilities required us to do it like that. My folks are very helpful to us.

  We returned the boys to their mother at 8:00 last night. After that, we got rolling. According to our trip planned, we needed to get 127 miles up the road in order to accomplish our future loads properly.
