Dropping the Boys Off at the Farm & Resuming Work in the Rain

Being early Winter, daylight comes late & leaves early. We dropped the boys off at the farm at the dark hour of 6:45am. One of the boys’ great uncles drove across the cow field to investigate who we were, in an effort to defend his elderly father & niece. I was sure to be as non threatening as possible, considering how well-armed this family is. 

  After swinging by the Taco Bell drive-thru, we got to the task of getting the big truck stocked, inspected & ready to roll. We deadheaded to the other side of Missouri to pick up our load. The big factory in Neelys Landing was busy; a line of trucks extended way out into the road.
