The Parking Spot Was Mine Because It Was Nearly Impossible

We parked at a truck stop in southern Minnesota last night. Every parking space was for, except for one. There was a reason that it was empty this: it was nearly impossible to back into. There were awkwardly positioned pillars surrounding a light pole. This conglomeration was too close to the parking space to permit most correction maneuvers. We saw various scrape marks from prior trucks on the yellow painted concrete annoyances. Stephanie got out of the truck to warn me of impending collisions with the various things around us. It took several minutes for me to get in properly, but we got it done. We were proud of our work.
