There was more to do than I expected, so leaving home was delayed by a couple of hours. It is a complex thing to take down camp & make sure everything goes where it needs to go.
The entrance guard at the Saint Louis area customer was sure that I had been there earlier in the day, but I assured her that I am a different man who also wears a beard. This phenomenon happens there regularly. While we were there, trading trailers, one of our dogs caught a piece of wire in her throat & wailed piercingly until Stephanie wiggles it out. While there wasn’t any blood or lasting injury, it was a scary experience for all of us.
Even with regular stops for the puppies, we made it all the way to Indianapolis to spend the night. While there, we brought the furry girls inside the facility to take a shower. They smell much better now.
Today, we ended the day at the company complex in Carlisle Pennsylvania. We took more transit time than intended because everyone & their brother HAD to interact with our hyperactive cuties. I had no idea that a pair of mammals could garner so much attention.
