Feeling Competitive & Driving At 3am

  Yesterday, we drove from the Pilot truck stop in Schulenburg Texas to the Schneider OC in West Memphis Arkansas. When I parked the rig, my 11-hour DOT clock had only two minutes remaining! 

  Today, we drove 658 miles to Findlay Ohio. When I parked, my 11-hour DOT clock had about 15 minutes remaining.    

 

   Our original destination was Fort Wayne Indiana, but we altered plans as soon as we knew that we had a reasonable chance of making it to Findlay Ohio - where family lives. We plan to spend a few hours at the grandparents' house before returning to the truck for a much-needed night of sleep. We have started our recent workdays at around 3am, enjoying sparsely populated roads.
